Good day, Cant' get the different buttons on the "reference" page to bring up the associated info, i.e. 'reference manual', 'g & m quick reference', 'g-code manual' etc. I've read the Mach3 Document Sources.pdf in the MachStdMill folder but that does not help. I have Mach3 ver R3.043.066 and MachStdMill ver 2.0.0 installed, both are registered and am running the mill application. These are running under Window7, 64 bit, french version. No parallel port is used since this is a desktop computer. How do I get these different buttons to bring up the associated manuals? Thanks in advance. Pierre Choquette

Hi Pierre,
You didn't really say what happens when you try the reference page buttons - is there any error message displayed?
Pending more info as to what you are seeing, here are some general things to check -
The manuals are installed by default into C:\Mach3\Documentation
Are there PDF files in that dir? Is the MachStdMill sub-dir in that directory and does it have pdf files in it? If not, reinstall MSM to get the documentation files installed.
What happens when you double click one of the pdf files in that dir? Does it open?
If so, you know that you at least have a PDF reader installed and that windows knows how to invoke it. If not, then find what error happens. You may be needing to install a pdf reader on the PC.
Once you know that you have a working PDF reader installed, the question becomes: Have you told MSM what PDF reader to use?
Go to the setting page, common tab, upper panel and find the "Set utility paths" button, then make sure that MSM is trying to use a pdf reader that actually exists etc.

Thanks Mr Dave, Got it going. I hadn't instructed MachStdMill to use Adobe Reader. Thanks for your quick response and guidance. Pierre
