Dave, is there a way to Trigger an Output from an Input in MSM: I've connected a Touch-Plate to the Probe Input and would like to Trigger an Output to Activate a Relay so I can turn a LED on each time the Touch-Plate is touched. Thnx Much

Hi, All the usual Mach techniques for handling I/O are available when running MSM.
Some common approaches for this would be: 1) to use a the mach Macropump to look at the probe input and set an output. This will run at the mach script cycle rate of around 100ms. So this may or may not be fast enough for your needs.
2) Use a Periodic Script (See mach programmer manual) to do as in #1. A tad more complex for starting up the periodic script, but this lets you set the period time - so you can have a shorter or longer period if that suits the situation better.
3) use a brain to set an output from an input. This is probably the fastest response time and pretty easy to do for the simple case you described.

Any documentation I can dig into to learn how to create the Brain?
