Anyone have anything to offer about when beta testing for MSM with Mach3 V4 will begin?

Hi, I'm hoping that you will understand that I can't comment on your question. Any info re Mach v4 schedules/progress will come from Artsoft whenever they decide to provide public information.

Yup. didn't mean to put you on the spot, Dave - was wondering if anyone else heard anything since Brian talked about betas coming back in November on the mach1mach2cnc yahoo group.

I am hoping that you can answer this...
WHEN mach3 v4 is released, will MSM be included. My understanding is that MSM is separate from v3 for support and timing reasons. But has the original plan stayed the same for v4 -- that MSM is included?
My worry is that I will get MSM, love it, and then Mach will diverge in some small way -- you know the small ways that end up driving you nuts.! Like a new probing function will be built in that differs from MSM, or something....

Well..... any info I have re plans for Mach V4 are not for me to speak of publicly. However, you can be assured that CVI will make MSM will work with V4 - if for no other reason than after all I use MSM and I don't intend to abandon it for M3V4 Whenever M3V4 crawls out of the Artsoft cradle, there will be an MSM for V4 shortly thereafter. (I've had alternate screen pages all done for the tech changes in V4 etc for 6 months now - they are just not of much use without a working V4 mach to use them with.) The point is that MSM already has most of the V4 work as done as it can be at this point - so I don't think you need to worry about having to change when V4 is released. Dave
