Any suggestions ?

Hi Rick,
Let's start with some information:
1) what version of MSM (version is shown on the reference page)? 2) what version of Mach are you running? (MSM requires 3.43.22 minimum) 3) Please give me some information as to what you are doing when you see this message. 4) when you see the message, please write it down verbatim and post it here. if you have a screen capture capture utility you can also grab a shot of the dialog and post that. It helps me to have the exact message when debugging (and to let me see if it's a MSM message vs a mach message) 5) is this random or can you cause this to happen at will?

Rick - thanks for letting me know.
Using the 3.42.x lock down version causes that message. It's unfortunately a situation I can't fix. For MSM to check the mach version it has to use a call that is not present is the 3.42.x series.... in trying to check if the mach version is OK, mach throws the error before I can get the info. Catch 22.
Dave
P.S. while you were doing that you may or may not have noticed that a new rev of MSM is out as of yesterday. if you installed beta 14, you probably want to update to MSM RC1.
