I've upgraded Mach3 to ver. .062, and installed MSM ver 2.0.4.
My profile loads fine for MSM, but I can't get Mill turn to load. The MSM screen set loads instead. I've also tryed the master and again the standard MSM screen set loads. I'm Using Pro version of MSM

Hi, Sounds as if you are trying to use a mill profile to run MSM's turn or mill-turn. To run Turn or Mill-Turn you have to be using a profile that runs mach in lathe mode (not mill mode).
Detailed steps to create a Turn profile are in the MSM readme, but here is the short version:
I'll assume that what you are trying to do is run MIll-Turn on a mill (as opposed to Turn on a lathe) - that let's me assume we will start with a known good mill profile...
1) Use mach in "loader" mode to clone your current Mill profile. See the readme for details (don't check default values etc).
2) start mach with the new profile.
3) use mach menus to do the one time only, change to the MSM lathe screens. Use the mach menu; view; load screen, then change the screen sets displayed from .set to .Lset - this will show you the available .lset screens (using .lset is how mach learns it's supposed to run in lathe mode).
4) select MachStdMillLathe.LSET and load it.
5) close mach to get the change saved to the mach profile (the XML file).
6) restart using the profile - you will now be in mach lathe mode and on the MSM screens.
7) use the MSM settings page, load screen button (not the mach menu again), to select either MSM turn or MSM mill-turn screens.

Hi Dave,
Thanks, I'm not sure what happened, I performed the steps in the readme file and couldn't get mill-turn to load. Last night I uninstalled and then re-installed MSM and all is well now.

Ah, I should have thought to ask if the lathe support was installed... The lathe support is optional to install and of course if it's not installed, it's hard to load the screens Dave
