Ok,I have a fresh install of xp, Naturally I dont want to do somthing goofy, and screw up my installs, Somthings I risk, I didnt want to lose my mill profile with the blue screen, so I backed up the folder. I installed mach 3 latest, rebooted, added the license, deleted the folder on C, put my old folder on, and thats where i'm at. It worked, I'm bacK where I was, and I want to install the MSM, because of the probing features, but I also like the bluescreen, and sure I could find more I like. How do I save differnt mach 3 profiles? if I want to pull up blue screen, or the axis calibration , sets steps per inch in standard mach 3 mill, setting page, I would like to be able to do that too, I guess I could just swapp folders, seems to work, is there another way?,Thanks,Dan

You use "mach loader" to make new profiles, or to make copies of existing mach profiles. "mach loader" is what you get when you start mach w/o telling it a specific profile to load. See section 2.3 in the mach CNC controller software installation and configuration manual (installed by MSM or avail from the Machsupport.com site). Then you simply start mach with the profile that corresponds to the config (e.g. screen set) that you want to use. Resist the urge to go swapping the contents of the mach3 folder - there be dragons along that path Dave
