Dave,
Beta 14 Reference page has a minor glitch. The v0.6.0 line isn't in the box, but above, in the green text. Not a big deal with all the wonderful work that IS MSM, but take a look!

Tom, Does your screen look like the attached (this is what I get)? (ignore the cut of bottom of the font - that's due to my fonts being set at 120% on the test machine) Dave Attachments:

Mine looks like this. Hopefully I get the attachment done right. Hmmmm.......loaded stock 12x9 screen and it's OK. My custom screen does it like the attachment. I did NOT customize anything on the Reference page, only on the User Exts page, or not intentionally anyway. Hope I don't have to re-clone the stock screen and do all my stuff over again. Might have something to do with starting with a clone of the stock screen a month ago, no? Attachments:

Isn't software fun? As you probably guess, I've never seen that happen. All my machines look like the pic I posted. Does this happen consistently every time you start MSM? Which resolution were you running when you took the screen shot? Does this happen with both the 10x and 12x9 resolution? Dave

I edited my post, check it again. Stock screens OK, my cloned 12x9 is what doesn't work. Only on one machine so far. This machine has a huge 30" monitor, 2560 x 1600, Mach is in a window at 12x9. I'll have to try it on the machine computer where the resolution is 1280 x 1024 matching the 12x9.

Tom, This is my 2nd attempt at posting this - seems I did something that made the first attempt not get posted - sorry for the delay. The light bulb has gone off for me.... but I'm feeling embarrassed by what I've now realized. Here is what has happened: You made a custom screen set by cloning the 12x9 MSM set file from beta 12. The location of where to put screen objects is stored inside a set file. The clone process started you off will all the info from Beta 12 - that was expected. I then went and made a change to the reference page's background graphics for beat 14. As part of that update I moved a userlabel location on the page and added some more labels... which of course your custom cloned set file does not know about... It is clear to me that I didn't give the customization procedures enough thought during design. We now have a situation where the customized set file you are using has implicit knowledge of the contents of objects external to the set file itself (in this case the reference page background graphic). The result is a set file and graphics files that are an inconsistent set (as the graphics altered between beta 12 and beat 14). Time for me to put my thinking cap on and see what I can dream up to improve the customizations procedures to avoid this in the future. In the mean time I'll email you some info so that you can edit your custom set file for beta 14 so that the reference page will render nicely for you. Dave
