Welcome, Come on in, grab a virtual beer from the bar tap in the corner.... pardon the dust around here, this is a new forum and construction will be underway for a bit. This forum is for all topics related to MachStdMill and is the primary communication mechanism for the MachStdMill software package. Please feel free to post questions, comments & discussions of MachStdMill in this forum. While the temporary Beta test forum at machsupport.com will remain for a while, we suggest that you get in the habit of asking MSM questions here - as this is the primary place we (CVI) will be hanging out for MSM. Post a reply and let us know who you are and what you're doing with MachStdMill Dave

Hi Dave, Thanks for the beer, I needed that. I've just loaded beta 14 and I'm running a part as I type this, looking good. I've been using MSM since August, beta 3, and I'm very happy with it. The only outstanding issue I have is the low feed rate that is displayed which Brian thinks is something to do with the Mach to Smooth Stepper interface. I can live with this. Great product, it's good to know we can continue to use it with Mach3. Keep up the good work. Calum

I thought I should chime in with a comment on MSM. It's really great!! How's that?
I've been using it exclusively since the beginning of the beta. MSM's best feature is Dave. Rest assured he will be the level head in any issues that arise. He WILL get to the bottom of it.
For beta type software, MSM has been amazingly good since the beginning and at the moment (beta 14) seems totally ready for prime time to me.
I'm very glad Calypso has decided to make this a stand alone product for Mach3 v3. For me this takes the edge off waiting and waiting for Mach3 v4. V4 will need to seem pretty nice and I'm now not inclined to jump on v4 right away like I might have before MSM!!

Hello Dave
Happy Thanksgiving. I glad you decided to offer MSM as a stand alone product for Mach 3. You deserve a big thank you for all your hard work. I'm glad you will reap the benefits for all your hard work. V4 has been a long time in coming. With the success of MSM I'm leaning toward keeping the existing version of mach and buying MSM.
Eric
